With 40-plus years of experience in the salon craft, we've recognized the value that hairdressers and beauticians add to our lives. As we go even further into the digital age, although we are more connected, we are distant from each other in a communal sense and drifting further apart.
As a Salon, we have the ability not only to make people look and feel beautiful, but also to connect with our customers, our team, our suppliers, and others we interact with. We all experience challenges in life and no one has it easy. So we aim to create a space in the Salon where we inspire our customers, we inspire our team and most importantly we inspire ourselves to be better human beings.
This is a bold claim for a Salon to make; however, we want to be a part of the positive change this world needs. So we have designed a salon environment that provides you an exceptionally high level of hair and beauty treatments, while also investing in creating a space that inspires you to boldly take on the internal and external battles we face.
We've still taken only early steps in this journey of much-needed individual and societal change. But we will continuously invest all resources necessary to reach our aim so we can inspire as many people as we can through our services, culture, and humanness.
Salon Nayana History
A pioneering salon brand in hair and beauty in Sri Lanka, Salon Nayana feels privileged to have received the love, respect and loyalty of the countless customers who’ve walked through our doors since we first began with a single branch in 1980.
Salon Nayana’s story is closely tied to the journey of our Founder and Hair Director, Nayana Karunaratne, an entrepreneur of repute who is a globally-renowned hair stylist and a world-class hair and beauty trainer. Through passion and dedication, she built a salon empire that now stretches across South Asia, guided by a deep love for the craft of hairdressing and a desire to give back to and uplift people.
Today, Salon Nayana enjoys a strong presence in Sri Lanka's capital city of Colombo and in India, boasting modern salon facilities and some of the region’s top hair stylists and beauticians. With 40 years under our belt, we're happy to be recognized as a contemporary salon brand offering fresh hair serivces and beauty treatments, with a rich history that ties us to the very roots of the hair and beauty industry in Sri Lanka and India.
