What does body bleach do?

Bleaching does not remove body hair.

A cosmetic bleaching product lightens the visible hair so it blends more closely with the skin.

This may make fine hair less obvious, but the hair is still physically present.

It therefore creates a completely different finish from waxing.

Which gives smoother skin?

Waxing.

Because the hair is removed from the root, the treated area feels smoother after waxing.

Bleached hair remains on the skin, so bleaching should not be chosen if your actual goal is hair removal.

Which is better for fine hair?

If you are comfortable keeping the hair and simply want it to appear less visible, bleaching can make sense for fine hair.

If you do not want the hair there at all, waxing is the more relevant option.

Does waxing make hair grow back thicker?

Waxing does not cause the individual hair shaft to become thicker simply because it has been waxed.

How your hair grows is influenced by biology and hormones rather than the wax "teaching" it to grow thicker.

Does bleaching remove a tan?

No.

Body-hair bleach and a salon detan treatment are different things.

Keep fine hair but make it less visible: cosmetic bleaching is the relevant category.

Address the appearance of tanning: ask about detan.
